FSSAI registration

FSSAI registration in Uttarpradesh is a mandatory process that food businesses in India are required to go through in order to ensure the safety and quality of food products sold in the country.   3. Central License: It is required for food businesses with an annual turnover of more than INR 20 Crores. These include large-scale food manufacturers, importers, and exporters.

It’s to be noted that the classification of the business depends on the turnover, nature of product and the category of the product. The FSSAI has the authority to re-categorize the license in case of any discrepancy or non-compliance.

The FSSAI registration must be renewed before the expiration date of the license, failure to renew on time will attract penalty and fines.
